SNOP World First Completion Contest Rules

Overview

The SNOP World First Completion Contest challenges players to become the first person to successfully complete the SNOP mountain run. SNOP is an intentionally difficult physics-based snowboarding game where precision, control, persistence, and a little bit of luck are required to reach the finish line.

The first eligible player to successfully complete the challenge will receive a $200 USD prize. Only the world first completion will receive the cash prize, and the contest will end once a valid completion is verified or the contest end date is reached, whichever comes first. Once a valid completion is verified, the contest will be considered complete and no further submissions will be accepted. This page will be updated to reflect the contest's completion and the winner's name.

Contest End Date

The contest will officially end on:

August 31, 2027 at 11:59 PM

Any completion attempts submitted after this date will not be eligible for consideration.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the contest, players must meet all of the following requirements:

• The entire completion attempt must be performed live on Twitch.
• The Twitch stream must clearly show the player completing the run from the beginning of the attempt through the finish.
• The completion must be achieved through normal gameplay without cheating, exploits, unauthorized modifications, or methods intended to bypass the game's mechanics.
• After successfully completing the run, the player must contact the contest organizer by email and provide a link to the Twitch livestream recording/VOD showing the successful completion.
• If attempting on a mobile device, a twitch stream showing the device screen must be provided to verify the completion attempt.

Prize Claiming

Players of any age may participate in the contest. However, the $200 USD prize may only be claimed by an individual who is 18 years of age or older.

If the winner is under 18 years old, the prize must be claimed by their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. The parent or legal guardian may be required to provide any information necessary to complete the prize claim process.

If you've completed the challenge and feel you are eligible for the prize, please contact the contest organizer at snop.world.first@decktronic.org with the following information:

• A link to the Twitch livestream recording/VOD showing the successful completion.
• If multiple players claim to have completed the run, the contest organizer will determine the first valid completion based on their submission details.

You should receive a response within 48 hours of your submission to further verify your completion and if all requirments are met you will be awarded the prize and the contest will be complete.

Submissions without a full Twitch livestream recording/VOD showing the successful completion will not be considered and will not receive a response.

Cheating and Exploits

Any form of cheating, exploiting bugs, modifying game files, using external tools, or otherwise bypassing the intended challenge may result in disqualification.

What qualifies as cheating or an unfair advantage will be determined at the sole discretion of the contest organizer. Attempts to circumvent the intended gameplay experience, course design, or challenge of SNOP may be rejected.

Verification Process

The contest organizer reserves the right to review submitted footage and request additional information to verify a completion attempt.

If necessary, the organizer may contact the player for additional details, clarification, or further evidence regarding their submission.

Technical Issues and Unforeseen Circumstances

Any technical issues, disputes, unusual circumstances, or situations not explicitly covered by these rules will be handled at the sole discretion of the contest organizer.

The organizer reserves the right to make final decisions regarding eligibility, verification, and prize awarding.

Final Note

The purpose of this contest is to celebrate the challenge of SNOP and reward the first player who can truly master the mountain.
